Riccardo Stoeckicht

Riccardo has over 35 years of experience in the for-profit, non-profit, education and entrepreneurial arenas, having lived and worked in the United States and South America. After working for 17 years as a finance and business executive with the DuPont Company in Brazil and the United States, Riccardo and his family decided to make the U.S. their home. He launched an art distribution business, placing Latin art in the U.S. art distribution system, leveraging a brick & click strategy. His journey in education reform began in 2004 as deputy director of the Latin American Community Center (LACC), the largest Latino-serving agency in Delaware, where he oversaw its business operations and lifelong-learning programs serving ages 0 to 101.

He was the founding board treasurer of Academia Antonia Alonso, a dual language charter school serving students coming from underserved communities, and led the redevelopment of an 11-story, 475,000 square foot bank building, creating a world-class educational environment originally intended to house four charter schools serving city students in Wilmington, Delaware. He has led school support organizations and has worked as a consultant supporting charter schools as they sought to grow their operations. Before joining the mevvn team he was the co-leader of a 2,000 student, dual language (English & Greek) K-12 charter school, overseeing all its operations on a 35-acre, multi-building campus.

Riccardo brings extensive C-Suite experience supporting non-profit organizations with budgets of up to $30 million. He has facilitated strategic planning processes with boards and organizational leadership teams, subsequently working with them in the design and implementation of organizational structures, transforming cultures from centralized to distributed decision-making models focused on delegation and accountability.

Riccardo received a BA from Brown University, and an MBA in quantitative analysis from Northeastern University. He is a past education fellow with the Pahara Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He enjoys solving wooden jigsaw puzzles with multiple solutions, and until recently was the lead beta-tester for Stave Puzzles, the premier wooden jigsaw puzzle producer in America. He enjoys languages, collecting art and watching foreign movies. He lives with his wife, Cecilia, in Wilmington, Delaware.
